The first in a series of drawings made while pregnant. An exercise that began as a way to ease the anxiety of tracking, in that last urgent and unknowable trimester, fetal movements and grew into a kind of collaboration with my son; a communication in line and gesture. The drawings linger and loop longer as he grows, arms and legs twirling, tumbling round and round, always going.
